Wet Scrubber
Heavy-duty Wet Scrubber engineered for effective flue gas cleaning, built as a reliable Boiler Flue Gas Scrubber for husk-fired and biomass-fired boilers in solvent extraction and oil mill plants.
Wet Scrubber for Boiler
Industrial Emission ControlIn husk-fired and biomass-fired boiler operations, controlling particulate emissions and staying within CPCB and State Pollution Control Board limits is essential for every solvent extraction and oil mill plant. Uncontrolled flue gas discharge leads to compliance issues and environmental damage over time.
Super Techno Engineers' Wet Scrubber removes dust, ash particles, and select gaseous pollutants from boiler exhaust before it reaches the chimney, engineered around your boiler's actual gas flow, temperature, and particulate load rather than sold as a generic off-the-shelf size.
How Our Wet Scrubber Works
Our Venturi Wet Scrubber design pulls hot flue gas through a narrowing throat section where it meets a fine spray of scrubbing liquid, usually water. The sudden increase in gas velocity forces intimate contact between the gas stream and liquid droplets, trapping dust particles and soluble gases inside the droplets.
The cleaned gas passes through a mist eliminator before exiting to the stack, while the contaminated water carries the collected ash and particulate to a settling tank or slurry pit for disposal.
For plants that need higher removal efficiency on acid gases such as SO2 or HCl, we also offer a Packed Tower Wet Scrubber configuration, where the gas rises through a bed of packing material while scrubbing liquid flows counter-currently, giving longer gas-liquid contact time and better absorption.

Wet Scrubber for Solvent Extraction Plant Boiler
Most solvent extraction and oil mill plants run husk-fired or biomass-fired boilers to generate the steam needed for desolventizing, toasting, and drying. These boilers produce fine ash and particulate in the flue gas that needs treatment before discharge.
As an Industrial Wet Scrubber for Husk Fired Boiler applications, our system is sized specifically for husk fired boiler exhaust conditions common in this industry, unlike generic pollution control equipment designed for coal-fired power plants.
This makes it a practical fit as a Wet Scrubber for Oil Mill Boiler, where space, water availability, and maintenance access are different from a large thermal power plant.
Air Pollution Control Wet Scrubber for Your Plant
A Wet Scrubber Emission Control System only works well if it is sized for your specific boiler, not adapted from a standard catalog unit. As a Wet Scrubber Manufacturer in India serving the edible oil and solvent extraction industry, Super Techno Engineers designs each Boiler Flue Gas Scrubber around your fuel type, firing rate, and local pollution control board requirements. This keeps installation straightforward and avoids the oversizing that drives up water consumption and running cost.
Operational Capabilities
Proven Performance
Removes fine dust particles above 1 micron from the flue gas stream before discharge.
2,000 to 50,000 Nm³/hr capacity sized to match your boiler's actual flue gas volume.
Built to help plants effectively meet Central and State Pollution Control Board discharge norms.
Equipment Integrity
Build Quality & Features
The scrubber shell and throat section are fabricated from mild steel, stainless steel, or FRP depending on the corrosiveness of the gas stream your boiler produces.
Internal components exposed to abrasive ash and acidic condensate are built with corrosion-resistant liners so the unit holds up under continuous heavy-duty operation.
The adjustable throat lets operators fine-tune pressure drop dynamically as the gas flow varies with the boiler load, keeping capturing efficiency consistently high.
The spray system is meticulously designed for even liquid distribution across the full gas cross-section, ensuring that no part of the flue gas flow bypasses treatment.

Implementation Protocol
How We Work
As a leading Wet Scrubber Manufacturer in India, our engineering teams design every unit to match your boiler's specific operating profile, ensuring efficient and reliable emission control cycle after cycle.
Emission Assessment
We review your boiler's fuel type, firing rate, flue gas temperature, and particulate loading to determine the scrubber type and size your plant actually needs.
Scrubber Design
Our engineers finalize the throat design or packing selection, liquid circulation rate, and material of construction based on your gas composition and space available.
Fabrication & Commissioning
The scrubber body is fabricated, pressure and leak tested, then shipped and installed at your site with commissioning support to confirm it meets your discharge requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
It removes dust, ash particles, and certain gaseous pollutants from boiler flue gas by passing it through a scrubbing liquid before the gas is released through the chimney.
Husk and biomass fired boilers generate fine particulate in the flue gas. This equipment helps bring emissions within CPCB and State Pollution Control Board limits before discharge.
A Venturi Wet Scrubber is better suited for high particulate loads and works on high gas velocity through a narrow throat. A Packed Tower Wet Scrubber gives longer gas-liquid contact time and is better suited where acid gas absorption is also required.
Our systems use a recirculating water loop with a settling tank, so fresh water make-up is limited to what is lost with the ash slurry and evaporation.
Yes. We size every scrubber around your boiler's actual flue gas flow, temperature, and fuel type rather than supplying a fixed catalog size.
Routine upkeep is limited to checking spray nozzles, the mist eliminator, and recirculating water quality every few weeks. There are no moving parts in the gas contact zone, so wear and tear stays low compared to dry pollution control equipment.
