Edible Oil Bleacher
High-efficiency vacuum bleaching vessels designed for absolute impurity removal, color reduction, and premium edible oil clarity.
Purifying the Core.
Elevating Clarity.
Raw extracted oils contain pigments, trace metals, oxidation products, and soaps. Our bleaching systems act as the ultimate purification step in your refinery.
Optimal Adsorption
Through precise mechanical agitation and controlled heating under deep vacuum, our bleachers maximize the contact between the oil and bleaching earth/clay. This ensures complete adsorption of color bodies (chlorophyll, carotenoids) and impurities.
Heavy-Duty Pressure Vessels
Bleaching requires intense heat and vacuum pressure. Our vessels are engineered to ASME standards, utilizing premium Stainless Steel (SS-304/SS-316) to prevent any contamination or structural fatigue over decades of continuous operation.
Equipped with high-efficiency limpet coils or internal heating coils, the system guarantees uniform temperature maintenance without burning the oil.
Flagship Equipment
Continuous Vacuum Bleacher
Zero-Oxidation Vacuum Processing
Heating edible oil in the presence of oxygen leads to rapid oxidation and rancidity. Our bleachers operate under a strict, high-capacity vacuum system that removes moisture and dissolved air before the heating process begins.
This ensures the oil is bleached at optimal temperatures (90°C - 110°C) without any degradation to its natural fatty acid profile.

ASME Certified Fabrication
Every bleaching vessel is subjected to rigorous X-ray and hydro-testing to ensure absolute structural integrity under vacuum and thermal stress. The heavy-duty flange connections and mechanical seals are completely leak-proof.
The central multi-stage agitator is driven by a high-torque, low-RPM motor, engineered to keep the bleaching earth perfectly suspended in the oil without causing excessive splashing or emulsion.
Operational Impact
Proven Refining Efficiency
Effectively adsorbs pigments, phospholipids, and residual soap traces.
High-throughput continuous models available for massive industrial refineries.
Guaranteed airtight processing to prevent thermal oxidation of fatty acids.
Technical Specifications
Engineered Features
Integrated steam ejector or vacuum pump systems maintain negative pressure to dry the oil and prevent oxidation during the high-temperature bleaching cycle.
A specially designed multi-blade mechanical agitator keeps the bleaching clay fully suspended, preventing settling and ensuring 100% surface area contact with the oil.
Vessels are equipped with exterior half-pipe limpet coils or internal steam coils to provide rapid, uniform heating of the oil using low-pressure steam or thermic fluid.
Features a specialized hopper and valve system that allows bleaching earth and activated carbon to be dosed directly into the oil seamlessly under vacuum conditions.
Engineered with high-capacity discharge pumps to swiftly transfer the slurry directly to Pressure Leaf Filters (PLF) for the immediate separation of spent earth.
Features heavy-duty toughened sight glasses equipped with illumination lamps, allowing operators to visually inspect the agitation and mixture process securely.
Implementation Protocol
How We Work
Our engineering teams custom-design every bleaching vessel based on your specific crude oil characteristics and desired final color index.
Crude Oil Analysis
We evaluate the Free Fatty Acid (FFA) profile, pigment concentration, and trace metals in your crude oil to determine the required vessel capacity and earth dosing ratios.
Vessel Engineering
Utilizing ASME standards, we design the thick-walled pressure vessel, calculating the optimal limpet coil surface area and multi-stage agitator blade pitch.
Fabrication & Integration
In-house welding and X-ray testing guarantee safety. We then install the bleacher into your refinery, syncing it seamlessly with your neutralizing and filtration units.
Setting the Benchmark in Oil Refining
Color and clarity are the primary markers of consumer edible oil quality. Our advanced bleaching vessels ensure you meet the highest global food standards while minimizing the consumption of expensive bleaching earth.
Food-Safe Purity
Achieves crystal-clear oil by completely adsorbing trace metals, gums, and coloring pigments.
Zero Oxidation
Deep vacuum technology prevents the oil from degrading or increasing in peroxide value during heating.
Earth Efficiency
Optimized agitation ensures maximum contact, drastically reducing the amount of bleaching clay required.
Lifetime Durability
Heavy-walled stainless steel construction resists the acidic nature of bleaching earth and high temperatures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our bleaching vessels are designed to handle a vast range of edible oils, including Soybean, Palm, Sunflower, Mustard, Cottonseed, Rice Bran, and Groundnut oil.
Heating oil to 90-110°C in the presence of air causes rapid oxidation, ruining the oil's quality. Vacuum removes oxygen and moisture, allowing safe heating and maximum earth adsorption efficiency.
We equip the bleacher with either internal steam coils or external half-pipe limpet coils. This allows the use of low-pressure steam or thermic fluid to precisely heat the oil without burning it.
We manufacture both. For smaller refineries (up to 50 TPD), batch bleachers are common. For larger operations (100+ TPD), we provide fully automated continuous bleaching vessels.
The earth is automatically drawn into the vessel utilizing the internal vacuum pressure through a specialized slurry mixing system or a dosing hopper, preventing any air from entering.
Because bleaching earth can be abrasive and acidic, we construct the contact zones using heavy-gauge Stainless Steel (SS-304 or SS-316) for longevity and food safety compliance.
Yes. All our pressure vessels undergo strict X-ray welding checks and hydrostatic pressure tests to ensure they meet ASME standards before leaving our facility.
Once the bleaching cycle is complete, the oil-earth slurry is pumped directly to a Pressure Leaf Filter (PLF) or filter press, which perfectly extracts the spent earth leaving clear oil.
While bleaching primarily targets color pigments (like chlorophyll), the deep vacuum also draws out volatile moisture and light odors, acting as a precursor to the final deodorization stage.
Fabrication of heavy-duty pressure vessels typically takes 6 to 10 weeks depending on the capacity and specific metallurgical requirements of the refinery.
